Alright, the name “Jump Only” pretty much tells you everything you need to know about this one – jumping is literally the only thing you can do! You’ve got to guide your character through 49 levels that are absolutely littered with nasty spikes and whirring saws, and your only tool is a well-timed jump. It’s a classic case of super simple controls – just one button, really – clashing with levels that get incredibly difficult and demand some serious precision.

Each stage you hit introduces new kinds of tricky setups and challenges, constantly testing your reflexes and, let’s be honest, your patience. This game is all about trial and error; you’ll mess up, learn where that spike was, and try again, hopefully getting a little further each time. The background music does a good job of keeping you in the zone and focused on the task at hand, even when you’re replaying a section for the tenth time.

“Jump Only” offers up a really minimalist but surprisingly tough gameplay experience. It’s definitely geared towards players who get a kick out of testing their timing and precision to the absolute limit, all in a very straightforward, no-frills kind of package.
