Fruit Gets Into a Fight

Aggro is a physics puzzle game where colorful fruit characters become the weapons as well as the targets. The game contains 25 levels, four different heroes, and five kinds of enemies. Your goal is to use the friendly fruit characters to knock out the unwanted fruit in each stage.

You play entirely with the mouse. Instead of moving a character around with the keyboard, you aim a fruit hero and launch it toward a target.

The direction of the shot matters. A badly aimed fruit may miss completely or bounce away without removing the enemy.

Work With Physics

Aggro relies heavily on how objects move after they are hit.

You may need to fire a character directly at an enemy in one level. Another stage can require a shot that bounces from a surface or pushes something else into the target.

Platforms and objects around the stage influence the result. This makes each level a small aiming problem instead of a simple shooting challenge.

You also have a limited number of shots. Wasting too many attempts can leave enemies on the screen with no useful fruit left to launch.

Four Heroes Give You Options

The game includes four funny fruit heroes. They form the friendly side of the battle, while five enemy types stand in their way.

The cartoon artwork makes it easy to see that Aggro does not take its fruit battle seriously. Apples, tomatoes, and other food characters appear as little personalities rather than normal pieces of fruit.

The colorful style also helps each level feel light even when a puzzle takes several tries to solve.

Study the Level Before Shooting

A good approach is to look over the whole stage before using the first shot.

The position of enemies matters. Nearby surfaces can change a fruit’s direction after impact. One carefully aimed launch may remove more than one problem.

The later stages introduce new arrangements that require better control of angle and force.

Aggro keeps its controls small and its idea easy to understand. Aim with the mouse, launch the fruit, watch how the objects react, and adjust the next shot.

With 25 puzzles to complete, the challenge comes from finding the smartest way to use the limited shots rather than simply firing as quickly as possible.
