Build a Team Before Each Battle

Tiny Squad is a strategy game where a small group of fighters battles enemy armies. Before a mission starts, you choose the members of your squad. You only have a limited amount of money, so you cannot simply pick every character you want. Each fighter costs part of the budget.

The game contains 24 levels. Battles happen one turn at a time. This means one fighter acts, then another gets a chance. You use the mouse to choose units and actions.

An automatic team-selection button can choose a squad for you. Building the team yourself gives you more control over which abilities enter the fight.

Understand What Each Fighter Can Do

When a character’s turn begins, the game highlights that fighter. Darkened ground shows how far the unit can reach. Some soldiers need to stand directly beside an enemy before they can attack. Fighters with distance weapons can strike targets from farther away.

Move the mouse over a character to check useful information. Health bars show how much strength each fighter has left. Watching these bars helps you decide which enemy needs attention first.

Tiny Squad includes different opponents across its pixel-style battle areas. Enemies include creatures and machines such as bears, ogres, and robots.

Spend the Budget on a Useful Mix

A team made only from one type of fighter can struggle when the battlefield changes. Close-range soldiers work well when enemies come near. Long-range units can attack from safer positions.

The limited budget makes every choice important. Spending too much on one character may leave too little money for the rest of the squad.

Look at the enemy group before starting a battle. Pick fighters whose skills can help against the threats on that level. During the fight, avoid wasting a strong attack on an enemy that is already close to defeat.

Tiny Squad keeps the battle system easy to follow while giving players plenty to think about. Choose the squad, watch each fighter’s reach and health, use individual abilities carefully, and defeat the opposing army one turn at a time.
