Info About Heatwave Antarctica

Heatwave Antarctica is a thoughtful puzzle platformer with a melting twist. You play as a little ice cube trying to survive rising sun rays in a warming Antarctic landscape. Your goal is to reach the safe ice platform at the end of each level before melting down below 25%.

You move using arrow keys (or WASD). Jump or swim up to move, and if needed, split yourself in two cubes mid-air by pressing down. Then you can switch between each half with the spacebar. That helps you trigger switches, push blocks, and use stones as temporary platforms.

The world is built around smart puzzles and timing. Sunbeams melt your cube when exposed above water, so hiding underwater or avoiding light is key. Some areas require pushing blocks onto switches or stacking stones to climb. It’s 12 stages in total, each demanding thoughtful planning to beat without melting away.

Why it’s worth trying

  • You’re racing against time and heat in a clever and quiet way
  • Splitting into two adds a neat puzzle layer
  • Controls are simple, challenges are sharp, and every level feels meaningful

It’s more than a platformer—it’s gentle storytelling about climate and endurance wrapped in minimalist puzzle design.
