Stay Ahead of the Rising Lava

Lava Swing is a rope-swinging action game where the ground below you is never safe for long. Lava follows the character through the level, so standing still is not an option. Your job is to grab onto cliffs with a rope, build enough movement, release at the right moment, and fly toward the next safe point. The farther you travel, the more chances you have to improve your run.

Throw the Rope and Choose the Right Moment

The controls in Lava Swing are small and easy to learn. Click on a cliff to throw your rope toward it. Once the rope catches, the character swings underneath the attachment point. Press the Space bar to release the rope.

Timing makes a huge difference. Releasing near a useful part of the swing can send the character farther forward. Letting go too early may leave you short of the next cliff. Waiting too long can send you in an awkward direction.

The character moves with loose physics rather than stiff platform movement. This makes every swing feel a little different. You need to watch the character’s direction instead of following a fixed jumping pattern.

Collect Coins While Moving

Coins appear during the journey. Reaching them can be risky because a coin may sit away from the easiest swinging path. Collecting money gives you access to upgrades, so there is a reason to take some chances instead of only staying on the safest route.

The upgrade system gives longer runs more purpose. Better equipment or improvements can help as you continue trying to stay ahead of the lava.

Keep Your Momentum

Lava Swing becomes a game of rhythm once the controls start to make sense. Attach the rope, swing forward, judge the angle, release, and quickly find another cliff.

The rising lava adds pressure to every decision. A poor swing does not only cost distance. It also gives the danger below more time to catch up.

Lava Swing keeps its idea focused from beginning to end. The rope provides movement, the cliffs provide targets, coins reward risky paths, and the lava makes sure you keep moving.
