Shawn Needs a Pair of Concert Tickets

Tickets 4Love is a funny point-and-click adventure about a man named Shawn. His Saturday night starts without any big plans. Things change when he notices a blonde woman at Frosty Brew and wants to ask her on a date.

Getting her attention turns out to be harder than Shawn expects. He learns that tickets to a Madison Addison concert could help. The problem is finding those tickets.

The player needs to guide Shawn around town, talk to people, collect useful objects, and solve several small puzzles before the tickets finally become available.

Explore Different Places Around Town

Tickets 4Love gives the player a map for moving between locations. Shawn can visit places such as his home, Frosty Brew, the Mini-Mart, Roy’s Burger Hut, Pacific Wharf, and other parts of town.

Each place contains people or objects that connect to another part of the adventure.

An item that seems unimportant at first can become exactly what someone else needs. This encourages the player to remember earlier locations instead of looking for every answer in the current room.

Collect and Use Strange Items

Shawn gathers a small collection of objects during his search. These include a gramophone horn, lottery ticket, cane, knife, box, membership card, and diving helmet.

The player selects items from the inventory and uses them on the correct person or part of the scene.

Some solutions are deliberately silly. That fits the light comedy style of Tickets 4Love.

The changing mouse pointer also helps show when something in the scene can be examined or collected.

Follow the Clues Until Shawn Gets the Tickets

The puzzles connect in a mostly clear order. Helping one character can provide an object needed somewhere else. That new item can lead to another favor, which brings Shawn closer to the concert tickets.

The player eventually needs to reach the place where the tickets are hidden and bring them back to Frosty Brew.

Tickets 4Love does not depend on fast reflexes. The fun comes from exploring, reading conversations, spotting useful objects, and working out where each item belongs.

Shawn’s simple plan for getting a date turns into a trip across town filled with odd favors and funny problems. That gives the game more personality than a basic hidden-object puzzle.
