Fit the Blocks Into the Grid

Q! Blocks is a puzzle game where you place different block shapes onto a square grid and try to keep the board from filling up. The pieces do not fall automatically. You choose where each shape should go, which gives you time to think before making a move.

The goal is to complete full horizontal or vertical lines. Once every space in a row or column is filled, that line disappears. The cleared spaces then become available for new pieces.

There is no need for quick reactions. Q! Blocks focuses on planning and making good use of the space you have.

Place Different Shapes Carefully

A selection of blocks appears for you to place on the board. The shapes can include straight pieces, squares, L-shaped blocks, T-shaped pieces, and other arrangements.

You drag a piece onto an empty part of the grid. Once placed, it becomes part of the board.

The important part is thinking about what space will remain afterward. A large empty area can be useful because it gives you room for many possible shapes. Small isolated gaps can become a problem because the next pieces may not fit inside them.

Clear Rows and Columns

Completing a line removes it and gives you more room to continue playing. A single move can sometimes complete more than one line.

It helps to look for places where one block can finish a row while also preparing a column. Consecutive clears can also build combo rewards in versions that support the combo system.

Clearing lines regularly is important. Leaving too many unfinished rows can make the grid crowded and limit your choices.

Keep Enough Space for Future Pieces

Q! Blocks ends when none of the available shapes can fit anywhere on the board.

This means the highest-scoring move is not always the smartest move. Sometimes placing a piece in a less obvious position leaves better space for whatever appears next.

Large shapes are especially worth preparing for. Filling every open area with small pieces can leave no room when a bigger block arrives.

Q! Blocks keeps its rules simple while giving every move some importance. Place the shapes, complete full rows and columns, clear space whenever possible, and keep the board open for future pieces. The longer you manage the grid without running out of room, the higher your score can grow.
