Stop the Mutiny on Mars

MineGuy 2: Among Them is a first-person action game set on Mars. A mutiny has broken out, and impostors have taken control of important areas. Your mission is to fight through the occupied facilities, remove the hostile impostors, rescue hostages, and destroy enemy installations.

The game takes inspiration from Among Us, but the gameplay is completely different from a social deduction match. Here, you explore the environment directly while carrying weapons and completing combat missions.

Search Each Area Carefully

Different levels give you objectives to complete. Some areas require you to eliminate the impostors. Other missions involve releasing people being held hostage or destroying facilities that the rebels control.

This means running directly toward the end of the map is not enough. You need to check the area and make sure the current mission is actually complete.

Weapons and useful equipment can appear along the route. Picking them up can give you better options against stronger groups.

Learn the Combat Controls

W, A, S, and D handle movement. The mouse lets you look around, aim, and shoot. Spacebar jumps, Shift lets you sprint, and R reloads your current weapon. You can also crouch and use grenades.

These controls give you several ways to approach a fight. Running into an open area without checking for enemies can leave you exposed.

Aiming from a safer position and reloading before entering another room can make a mission easier.

Rescue Hostages and Destroy the Facilities

MineGuy 2: Among Them gives the action a clear purpose through its objectives. Fighting is only one part of the mission. The hostages need to be found, and enemy facilities need to be taken out before the Mars operation is complete.

Later levels become harder and place more pressure on your movement and shooting.

MineGuy 2: Among Them works as a straightforward single-player shooting adventure. Explore Mars, watch for impostors, manage your weapons, rescue captured people, complete each objective, and clear the hostile facilities one mission at a time.
